Good news fashionistas! UNIQLO Sunway Pyramid reopened last week and it’s now bigger and better than before!
Following a few months of renovation, shoppers can now explore the new second floor and check out the exciting store interior design. Spanning at approximately 22,970 square feet, it’s nice to see UNIQLO stepping up their game in order to enhance visitors’ retail experience.
The highlights here include:
- Show Window Concept – Glass tank and illuminated mannequin stage are introduced to showcase the merchandise display.
- UT corner – Enhance visual merchandise display.
- Sustainability Corner – Educating customers how they can take part its recycling initiative.
- 23 fitting rooms in total (LG 1 with 13 and LG 2 with 10).
- 12 check-out counters are available.
If you’re looking to update your wardrobe, UNIQLO Malaysia has also launched various new collections over the past few weeks. Here are some new collections that caught our eye:
1. Musée du Louvre Collection
- By British graphic artist Peter Saville.
- This collection expresses historical masterpieces such as Mona Lisa through the unique interpretations of UT and the theme of “Art and Logic”.

2. Jason Polan UT Collection
- To mark the first anniversary of Jason Polan’s passing, this collection showcases his loving take on everyday life and iconic art through his time spent in Tokyo. His sketches of giraffes, hamburgers, and tigers are reflected here.

3. UT Grand Prix 2020 + MoMA Collection
- This design consist of winning designs from its Draw Your World-themed UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) Grand Prix 2020 design contest with The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
- The winner (pictured top left) by Isabel Santos (Philippines) – “My approach philosophically was deconstruction and fragmentation… I chose images from 1940s and 1950s comics from around the world.”
- 2nd prize by Amandine Leforestier (United States, nationality: French) – “I wanted to create a pattern that combines flowers and animal spots.”
- 3rd prize (pictured bottom right) by Melissa Holstein (Germany) – “The contact wire design represents the interface between the cityscape and life. It is based on analog black and white photography.”
- T-shirt prize: RM 59.90
4. Ines De La Fressange 2021 Spring / Summer (IDLF 21SS) Collection
- Collab with global fashion icon Ines de la Fressange.
- Theme: High-quality clothing that meets the needs of daily lifestyles.
- The 3 styling concepts: Day Trip, Effortless, Marine.
- There are a total of 45 items in the 21SS collection.
