Wait No Longer, Genting SkyWorlds Is Set To Open In 2021

Every Malaysian remembers Genting Highlands as one of the places to go for the holidays. But you’ll probably feel as though you’ve visited everything Genting has to offer. Well, we’ve got news for you.

In the 2nd quartile of 2021, they will be launching their new theme park, Genting SkyWorlds! The official logo was released today (23rd February) with hints of what is to come.

Genting SkyWorlds is a unique outdoor theme park at an elevation of six thousand feet above sea level. It’s separated into nine ‘worlds’. Each is inspired by a movie or an adventure such as Andromeda Base and Ice Age. This of course, is thanks to the collaboration with 20th Century Studios. Each world has a variety of rides and attractions for the whole family. If you need a break, there are themed restaurants and kiosks available. These themed restaurants and kiosks are non repetitive to ensure you get the best experience!

That’s all pretty standard for a theme park, but here’s what makes Genting SkyWorlds stand out:

  • 26 attractions with 2 “World’s First” attractions
  • Only 1 fee for the entire park. (Ticket price has yet to be announced)
  • New characters will be appearing at the park
  • Pre-book your rides to avoid waiting in line

Genting SkyWorlds is the result of many years of hard work by our dedicated team members and our partners from all over the world,” Mr. Lee Thiam Kit, Head of Business Operations and Strategies, Resorts World Genting stated proudly. He also stressed that the park is almost ready. “We are putting the finishing touches to this amazing theme park, which we believe to be Southeast Asia’s most anticipated theme park,” he explained. “We believe we will deliver the very best experience to our guests throughout this journey.”
