After 27 long years, Chili’s Malaysia is closing down its first flagship outlet in Bangsar Shopping Centre for good by the end of the month.
The eatery first opened its doors back in June 1994. Sadly, Malaysian foodies will only have slightly over 2 weeks to enjoy the beloved Tex-Mex franchise in Bangsar.
The statement from Chili’s Malaysia reads:
“It’s been an awesome 27 years for Chili’s at Bangsar Shopping Centre. We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our guests in Chili’s Bangsar Shopping Centre for your support over the years.
We’re sadly saying goodbye to our very first flagship store. Drop by for one last time before 31st March to say goodbye as we will be permanently closing Chili’s Bangsar Shopping Centre outlet soon.”
No reason was given about the closure but it’s understood that the F&B industry has also been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Fret not though, you can still visit other Chili’s outlets in Klang Valley. They include Mid Valley Megamall, 1 Utama, Empire Shopping Gallery and Suria KLCC.
