Wedding bells ring for Chinese actress Zhu Zhu (朱珠) — only, her fans never expected this prince charming.
The stunning beauty had her wedding on the 18th of March. When the pictures were released, fans started asking who her new husband was.
The 36-year-old actress is popular for starring in TV dramas and films like Marco Polo, Tubelight and Qin Dynasty Epic. She has also been selected as one of the “Top 100 Most Beautiful Faces in the World” for 8 consecutive years. Her previous relationship with Lapo Elkann, an Italian businessman caused a stir and many thought the two would eventually tie the knot, but it was not to be.
Zhu Zhu’s wedding was held in Beijing. It was a quiet affair, with only relatives and friends in attendance thanks to the epidemic, but heartwarming nonetheless. The bride looked radiant in her snowy white dress and perfectly joyful to be marrying the man she chose. Curious fans started looking into his identity and discussions bloomed on Weibo.
They discovered her husband is named Wang Yunjia and is two years younger than Zhu Zhu. Her new husband has no ties to the entertainment industry. In fact, he is a lecturer in the Fine Arts Department of Tsinghua University and is a partner of a suit brand. The handsome graduate of University of Manchester won her fans’ approval and blessings.
