Times are bad, and although things are finally starting to turn around with the vaccine, people are still struggling to get back on their two feet. That includes celebrities such as Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎).
Ever since returning to Hong Kong in December 2019, the 32-year-old actress have been struggling to revive her acting career – but no avail. After all, many TV and movie projects have either been postponed indefinitely or shut down completely.
According to reports this past week, Jacqueline is reportedly selling her Victoria Skye apartment in Kai Tak after surviving the pandemic with barely any income and new jobs in the past 2 years. As a result, the disgraced actress apparently had reduced her listing at 10% below market price, for only 500,000 HKD (~RM267,000). That’s a world of difference when she previously bought the property for 8.55 mil HKD (~RM4.55 mil) back in 2017.
It’s no secret that Jacqueline has been investing in various properties ever since her showbiz career took off. Both she and her sister Scarlett Wong have a joint property at Ocean One, which is a mixed commercial–residential property in Yau Tong. Besides owning properties in Hong Kong, it is understood that Jacqueline has also bought properties in Canada.
We’re positive that Jacqueline is just one out the many celebrities who had to reduce property prices in order to make ends meet.
