Lorry Drivers Fulfil Cancer-Stricken Boy’s Wish To Hear “Tenonet” Horn Sounds

Recently, the story of a cancer-stricken boy named Abid caught the local netizen’s attention. This came after his mom Nur Lydia Rose Hafieza took to her Facebook to share about her little son, who has a keen interest in listening to vehicles with “tenonet” horn sounds.

What is a “tenonet” horn sound, you ask? It refers to the sound produced by modified horns with rhythmic tones, typically found in heavy vehicles such as lorries and buses. Feel free to take a listen to it here:

Much to the mother’s surprise, the post was met with tons of positive comments and feedback from the public on social media. Not only that, many lorry drivers also chimed in by sharing videos of the sound of their horns on Lydia’s Facebook page with the intention of fulfilling the ailing boy’s wish.

Wait, it gets better!

In a TikTok clip posted by @anakdaddy996, we could see several lorries lined up by the roadside to honk their own “tenonet” horns in front of Abid. Apart from that, the kid was also invited for a ride in one of the trucks and was taken for a drive around Gebeng, Pahang. Watch the clip below:

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Abid. Hang in there and stay strong!
