Zayn Malik’s younger sister Waliyha Malik was recently the target of online trolling. Her husband Junaid Khan has also been subjected to online harassment. Insults such as death threats and name-calling were hurled towards the 22-year-old. For Junaid, it was merely a death threat directed at both him and his child Zaneyah.
Some of these insults resulted from Waliyha’s marriage with Junaid on 12th December last year in Bradford Garden. Before that, she was already set to marry the 24-year-old even without her older brother’s approval. This is because Junaid is an ex-con and has a few criminal records.
But Waliyha clapped back at the troll, sharing a screenshot of the threats while giving her own stance on the situation. Clearly, she wasn’t having any of it.
She responded back, “Just a quick message for the sad pathetic low lives who go out their way to make these accounts! Also, how do you make sense? You’re calling me and Safaa p****es in the username but you’re on a fake account. You are the biggest coward p***y and dying jealous f*ck I’ve ever come across. You are pure jealous, which means you’re insecure, weak, and obsessed. Get a job or a boyfriend or maybe a friend or two”.
Waliyha continued writing on her Insta story, “Nothing you say affects me or makes me feel sad or upset about my life. To be honest, it makes me laugh to see how desperate you are to try and hurt people!”.
Junaid also took action. He claimed there was no “major rift” between them and Waliyha’s family. The ex-convict took to Instagram to announce that he will not discuss nosy questions about his family. He claimed that both he and Waliyha are happy. “Just to add to this, I will never answer personal questions about Zayn and my father-in-law! You can assume what you want. We know the truth and we are happy. That’s all that matters!” wrote the former criminal.
Waliyha helped Junaid by saying how laughable people were bonding over their dislike towards someone. She also clarified to the trolls to seek someone about their problems.
Zayn hasn’t contacted his sister and Junaid since their marriage last year. The former One Direction singer and his father did not attend their nuptials due to concerns over Junaid’s criminal past and questionable financial position.
But rest assured, Waliyha and Junaid are very happy for each other. If the couple were to receive any more threats, they have each other’s back.
