The countdown to 1st June starts today! After much anticipation, Disney+ Hotstar will finally be making its Malaysian debut in less than a month.
Available on both Android and iOS devices, Disney+ Hotstar costs RM54.90 via a 3-month subscription plan (which is RM18.30 per month). Alternatively, consumers can also opt for special packages with Astro, for access to an extensive collection of content.
In addition to experiencing well-loved content from the company’s most iconic entertainment brands, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, Disney+ Hotstar has also entered into a series of multi-year agreements with leading Malaysian studios. They include Skop Productions, Revolution Media Films, Primeworks Studios, WAU Animation, Act 2 Pictures, Les’ Copaque Production, Red Films and more.
“J2: J Retribusi”, starring Zul Ariffin, the late Ashraf Sinclair and Amelia Henderson, together with “Zombitopia” (Shaheizy Sam, Bront Palarae and Sharifah Amani) and “Ada Hantu” (Hairul Azreen) will launch straight on the streaming service.
As the official distributor of Disney+ Hotstar in Malaysia, Astro Movies Pack customers will be able to stream Disney+ Hotstar for just an additional RM5 per month while non-Movies Pack customers can also enjoy Disney+ Hotstar via other attractive value bundles.
Starting from 4th May, customers can sign up for Movies Pack that will come with Disney+ Hotstar on 1st June 2021 via WhatsApp +603-95433838, Ch200, astro.com.my/Disney as well as via authorized retailers and dealers. Otherwise, users can subscribe to the service directly from the Disney+ Hotstar website.
