Over the past week, our country has witnessed a shocking spike in the number of Covid-19 cases, with the most recent one being a whopping 6,976 cases! Therefore, a stricter Movement Control Order (MCO) will take affect this week.

In a press conference held by National Security Council (MKN) over the weekend, the government revealed a list of updated SOPs and operation hours for the economic and social sectors.

A few days ago, a video from Twitter user Hazwan Ramli (@Hazwanrl) went viral online. In the clip, which showcases his life in Wellington, gives us a snippet of life in New Zealand where people there are no longer required to wear face masks and are free to move freely in public.

Hazwan’s tweet also caught the attention of many local netizens. A lot of them were “envious” of the Kiwis where they no longer have to worry too much about the pandemic. Not only that, others also expressed their desire to move to New Zealand and were amazed by the government’s efficient measures in dealing with the situation.

In fact, some even said that they truly missed the atmosphere prior to the Covid-19 outbreak, which has resulted to the death of many people not just in Malaysia but all over the world. Check out their reactions here:
