More often than not, there seem to be always disputes among K-Pop fandoms. Die-hard supporters of different groups clash will tend to clash one another over the popularity of their favourite idol groups.
However, a lot of people were dumbfounded after they discovered that fans of two NCT sub-units, namely NCT Dream and NCT 127, were engaged in a heated debate on social media recently.

Apparently, the feud sparked after it was revealed that NCT Dream had set a new record with their first full-length album, “Hot Sauce”. Earlier on 16th May, AllKpop reported that the album sold over 1,007,000 copies in total, becoming the 5th all-time biggest selling album in the first week.
With the recent success of the 7-member boy group, it appears that a few fans were arguing that NCT needs to separate into different groups. These selected few started bragging and boasting about their favourites’ accomplishment. Some even took it too far by belittling the other unit group!
The hashtag “#127zensVSdreamzens” started trending on Twitter, with many netizens and other K-pop fans adding their reactions towards the “feud”. In this case, a lot of them believed that the arguments shared by the fans were pointless and dumb. Other NCT supporters also slammed these few fans for embarrassing the fandom over their ridiculous arguments.
