A GrabFood delivery rider was greeted with an unexpected surprise from a customer who ordered a meal on the app recently.
The lucky rider, known as Long Nakno, shared on the “GrabFood Rider Malaysia Official” group page that he received a cash tips worth RM10, presumably for his efforts in climbing all the way up to the 10th floor of the customer’s apartment in KL.
“The elevator was broken. I decided to used the stairs instead. The customer gave me a RM10 tip; maybe one step (floor) equals to RM1? All my effort from practising climbing up and going down the stairs in Batu Caves didn’t go to waste,” the deliveryman remarked.
Long Nakno’s post has since went viral on Facebook, with over 2000 reactions and more than 200 comments left by local netizens. The replies section has also been flooded with tons of amusing remarks from these social media users.
