Social media has been abuzz this week after word got out that Jun Ji Hyun (전지현) and her non-celeb husband were on the verge of divorce, which was later proven to be false.
Soon after the shocking rumours came to light, the husband, Choi Joon Hyuk (최준혁), has also personally responded to the recent rumours surrounding their family with a bold and witty remark.
Choi Joon Hyuk decided to change his Kakao Talk profile background photo. The image he posted parodies a famous scene from the manga “Slam Dunk”, with an edited speech balloon reading, “I… want to be Jun Ji Hyun’s husband.”
The home label to the actress, Culture Depot, has also came forth to shut down all the claims involving the husband-and-wife duo. They clarified that all of the content mentioned by the YouTube broadcast is entirely false. And since these false rumours have been spread online, the company is left with no choice but to investigate the truth behind the misleading information.
Additionally, the agency will also be taking legal action against any media outlets or netizens who had spread the false claims.
