Doggett stayed on a farm during his visit to Iceland, and there were hundreds of horses there. Originally, he was interested in the tales of folklore surrounding the mesmerizing land such as the tale of the eight-legged Icelandic horse named Sleipnir. This absolutely amazing equine series majestically captures the beauty and serenity between the gorgeous semi-wild horses and their extreme habitat.

When you go through this series, you will immediately think of a utopian world. Some of the lovely elements featured in this series include dreamy snow-covered expanses, beautiful waterfalls, black sandy beaches, and icy lagoons. The backdrop enlacing the horses is truly otherworldly, and the beautiful creatures gallop, graze, and proudly stand against this.
Doggett usually shoots in black and white. However, this particular series is in colors. He explained that the light helped to create brilliant hues that added a sublime texture to the entire series. He stated that the contrast between the landscape and the horses was the reason behind using colors in this series. In every photograph, Doggett skillfully captures the powerful, calm, and peaceful nature of horses amidst wild and chaotic nature. Doggett recalled his shooting days that although the waterfalls were incredibly loud and the surroundings were windy, the horses stood calm.
