Actress and radio presenter, Siti Elizad Sharifuddin took to Instagram to express her happiness and gratitude after being contacted by the Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah.
Elizad through her Instagram entry described the conversation with Tunku Azizah as something beautiful and exciting.
“Would love to share this special moment. Today is a very joyful day for me. I received a phone call from Her Royal Highness, Tuanku Permaisuri Azizah. She asked about my condition after Tuanku Permaisuri read a story that said I was “barren” the other day,” she further added, “It really touched my heart with this beautiful call, Tuanku.”
In the same entry, Elizad also likened the conversation with Her Royal Highness to a dream as she has been a fan and idolized the King and Queen, especially in terms of in-vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment.
“Indeed, Her Royal Highness is very concerned with my story. Tuanku gave me words of encouragement, she told me the story of her own experience undergoing IVF treatment for 17 times. It really hurts. Only those who experience it can feel it,” she added, describing Raja Permaisuri Agong as someone who is full of motherly nature.
The actress also explained that her intention of sharing about the IVF journey on her platform is to give encouragement and awareness to other women who shared her experience so as to not give up in the process of having children.
“To those who criticize me, for your information, my intention for sharing my IVF journey is only for those TTC squad members to get more information,” she added, “Spread love, people. Not hate. Thank you.“
Not too long ago, the actress was attacked by an unknown individual on social media who rudely accused her of being barren and abandoning her religious duties. Following the incident, Elizad had lodged a police report and planned to bring the matter to the court.
