Miss Asia Contestant Sit Yeng Yi Signs Contract With ATV Hong Kong

A few days ago, another beauty pageant contestant named Sit Yeng Yi (号佳丽) went viral for entering the “Miss Asia Pageant 2021” Hong Kong at 37 years old.

ATV Hong Kong took notice of the sudden interest on Sit Yeng Yi (nicknamed Ah Yi) and decided to strike while the iron is hot. For someone who supposedly has no industrial experience, we wonder how is she adjusting to her newfound fame…

In their social media post yesterday afternoon (Friday, 30th July), ATV Hong Kong acknowledged that many were disappointed to not see Ah Yi at the finalist press conference. The good news is, something better was taking place behind-the-scenes.

Turns out, Ah Yi was photographed signing her first contract with ATV Hong Kong after meeting with the company’s public relations department. Although the content of the contract was not disclosed, netizens have come up with their own assumptions, suggesting that perhaps they plan to transform her and help get her into shape.

We also got a sneak peek at a photoshoot where Ah Yi was wearing a brown round-neck outfit. Although the interview was slightly awkward, perhaps with a little bit of media training, the 37-year-old will be more comfortable in front of the camera.

Previously, Ah Yi told an interviewer that she’s single and has never had a boyfriend. However, a man came forward and detailed his date with Sit Yeng Yi on an online forum. It was 15 years ago, and one of their dates took place at Sham Shui Po, Kowloon.

Following their meet up, the man said, “She would call me frequently but didn’t know what to talk about.” Although he feels that Sit Yeng Yi is an innocent lady, the reason why things didn’t worked out was because she had issues of her own. Take a look at his confession below:
