Neelofa has spoken up after her name and that of her husband’s were seemingly brought up by Caprice, in the midst of his intensified feud with Muslim preacher Ustaz Ebit Lew.
During the latter’s live broadcast session held earlier today, the popular celeb stepped forth to deny that she and her hubby, PU Riz were “betrayed” by Ebit Lew when he participated in his aid mission to Gaza, Palestine.
Refusing to stay silent after getting called out, Lofa also revealed that she’ll be reaching out to Caprice in person for clarification on the matter. “This is not right. I will contact Caprice and ask why he linked the names of people who are not involved,” she wrote in the comments during the Live session.
The fashionista businesswoman added by writing, “My mom has nothing to do with all the issues happening between you and Caprice. I ask you not to associate us with these groundless allegations.” Ebit then responded to Lofa’s comments, saying that he was only conveying what he knew about the case.
“All right, Neelofa. You can ask Caprice himself on why he uploaded the screenshot. I answered his statement. I’m fine with everyone,” the 36-year-old clarified to the actress. Though, it remains unclear to whom exactly Lofa was referring to in her remarks.
For the uninitiated, the drama involving the aforementioned figures started after Caprice (real name Ariz Ramli) posted a screenshot of a conversation on his IG Story, claiming that Ebit took the humanitarian mission proposal to Gaza, which was done by the celebrity couple and another activist, Heliza Helmi.
On top of that, the “Dem Girls” rapper further claimed that the paper was then submitted to Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein for Ebit to go with his team. It didn’t take long before the post went viral online, not long after he came out with several other allegations targeted towards Ebit.
