Aliff Syukri: “Why Are There No Buyers For My RM6mil Apartment At Pavilion Residence?”

Cosmetics entrepreneur, Dato’ Aliff Syukri, took to his Instagram page yesterday (Thursday, 12th August) to express his despair, for failing to sell his luxurious residence in Bukit Bintang.

As revealed by Aliff himself, he’s selling the said apartment for RM6 million, which is lower than its market price of RM6.5 million.

“Home sweet home under the Pavilion shopping mall, situated beside the JW Marriott Hotel. Still waiting for potential buyers to show interest in this unit 😭. In the end, I’m the only one staying here,” the “Bobo Di Mana” singer opened his caption.

Aliff continued, “I don’t know what the problem is, there are still no buyers. We are currently in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, I want to go shopping, but unfortunately, all the shops are closed. For those who are interested to buy these apartment, please drop my manager a WhatsApp on 012-3743261, or just follow @as_propertyy. There are a lot more things that I want to sell 😰😰.”

The post has been flooded with plenty of amusing remarks left by netizens and followers alike. While some agreed with Aliff’s point about the pandemic situation being the cause of declining home sales, others condemned the businessman over the statement he shared online. One user sarcastically wrote, “Datuk, do you think purchasing a house is similar to buying ‘pisang goreng’ (banana fritters)?”

Aliff should probably call up his rich celebrity friends to ask if they’re looking for a new house instead.
