ESCAPE Cameron Highland Theme Park To Debut With 20 Attractions

ESCAPE Cameron Highland

ESCAPE Cameron Highland is set to be the first European-themed and biggest ESCAPE theme park in Malaysia. It’ll also be the third ESCAPE edition, following ESCAPE Penang and ESCAPE Challenge in Petaling Jaya.

Designed and built by Sim Leisure Group, Phase 1 of the project is estimated to take 15 – 18 months and will probably launch in the first half of 2023. Phase 1 of ESCAPE Cameron Highland is expected to launch with 20 attractions – including the first dry ski slope in Malaysia.

The first outdoor ski facility in an equatorial setting will feature a ski lift elevating visitors to the top and a 1.2km dry ski track, which will take skiers through scenic routes, including local themed villages. Thanks to the temperate climate there, visitors will get to experience 5 different European villages at varying elevations – starting with the Iberian village at the bottom, followed by the British, Balkan and Nordic villages moving up, before finally peaking at the Alpine village at the top.

Spanning across a 60-acre valley at an elevation of 220 metres, ESCAPE Cameron Highland will rely on renewable energy to operate, thus making this adventure attraction an eco-friendly theme park. This allows the brand to combine its ‘retro-eco’ genre of fun with Cameron Highlands’ natural topography and environment. Visitors will also get to enjoy crowd-favourite ESCAPE Gravity Play slides and Adventureplay games in new exciting ways against the scenic landscape.

ESCAPE Cameron Highland

ESCAPE Cameron Highland is located at Ringlet, near Habu. As aforementioned, thrill-seekers will get to experience 20 games during Phase 1. Subsequently, Phase 2 and 3 will introduce more new attractions along the way. Although nothing is set in stone yet, discussions are currently underway to open A&W outlets there.

As for entry tickets, patrons can expect a similar pricing to ESCAPE Penang (ranging between RM80-RM160).
