Since the start of the pandemic, digital adoption has taken a quantum leap by many industries as customers have moved to opt for safer and less contact services. The food delivery industry is no exception to this rapid shift in interacting with customers through online platforms.

It’s no secret that food delivery services in Malaysia have been gaining momentum through the high number of orders from customers daily. As such, these food delivery riders sometimes have to deal with various antics from their customers and one FoodPanda rider took his customer’s order very seriously.

Two days ago, a TikTok user, @anasmansor99 who is a FoodPanda rider, uploaded a video showing an order that he received from a customer who wanted him to place the food ordered on the rack situated at the customer’s front door. What is interesting is that, the customer also had apparently requested him to knock the door and run away upon placing the food.

To fulfil the customer’s request, the TikTok user who is also known as Abang Panda abided by the order. However, his funny demeanour has kept netizens entertained. Many commented that the request was made probably due to the customer being under quarantine.

Apart from that, there are also netizens who are amused by Abang Panda’s efforts. He even set up his camera and re-enact the situation in an effort to produce content, thus entertaining his followers.
