The government has officially begun setting requirements for people to show their vaccination certs prior to entering any premises such as shopping malls, supermarkets and also restaurants.
With that being said, the news however has not been well-received by a few particular groups of people – namely the anti-vaxxers – who are facing difficulties in carrying out their daily routines.
Last night, Twitter user @pedoqpop shared a screenshot of an FB post which features a woman named Puan Eda Othman, showing off a receipt of the purchase she spent while shopping at a supermarket. She accompanied her post with a snarky caption, seemingly throwing unnecessary shade towards other supermarkets for banning anti-vaxx people from shopping at their outlets.
The Facebook user captioned, “You guys are at loss if you don’t allow us to enter (your supermarkets). (Think about) how much we can help in improving the country’s economy each week. Thank you Jaya Grocer for not discriminating. We love you big time,” along with the hashtags, “#SayNoToMedicalApartheid”, “#AllahJagaKita”, and “#BukanKitaJagaKita”.
Wait, there’s more!
In another screen capture uploaded by the Twitterverse member, Puan Eda could also be seen responding to a comment left by one of her friends on social media. The user, Eika Chan, commented, “Hahaha. That’s truly right, Eda. They should think twice if they want to prohibit us, who opt for organic food, from entering.”
She then responded by writing, “They have no idea that we are not the type who consume junk food every day. It costs a lot of money to buy groceries.” Additionally, Puan Eda even compared the Covid-19 vaccination process to human trials. To quote the lady, “If there’s a risk, bear it yourself. There’s no compensation.”
Based on our checking, the woman appears to have already deleted the aforesaid post on her Facebook page.
