Local Seller Offers “Virtual Slaps” On Shopee & It’s Sold Out!

Ever since the Covid-19 pandemic hit our country, we can see that many had to become more creative in making a living in order to generate some income. The case is apparent where various unique products had gone viral on social media after being sold online.

This particular merchant on the Shopee app is no different. In this case, the said seller went viral this week for selling an online slap to be specially sent to other people. Just when we think we’ve seen it all, someone proves us wrong.

As the name suggests, this Shopee seller offers to send a virtual slap in accordance to the buyer’s choice. Interestingly. there are two variations of virtual slaps that one could choose from – namely the “Regular Slap” or the “HD Slap”.

It’s understood that the “Regular Slap” is priced at 37 cents. The seller will send an image of his palm through WhatsApp, accompanied with a special message. Meanwhile, for those who purchased the “HD Slap” (priced at 47 cents), the merchant will send a high-resolution picture of his palm through a document file, which will surprise the recipient once they open the file.

Surprisingly, this seller managed to receive over 200 orders from online customers! Though, it was recently revealed by the seller that they had to remove the ad before coming up with a new one. For those who are interested in purchasing the virtual slap, you may look for it on the e-commerce platform.

If you think a virtual slap is not enough, there’s also another merchant on the online shopping app that offers a similar service. Customers can now order other online attacks such as “deadly kicks” or “deadly claws” to be sent (virtually) to their annoying friend or even their arch-nemesis!
