When women wear make-up, it makes them feel more beautiful and boosts their confidence. In the same way, men tend to feel mature and confident when they grow a beard. Without a doubt, all these depend on the personal preferences of people. Just like men who love to grow their beards, many prefer being clean-shaven, and there’s nothing wrong with that. However, no one can deny that it’s kissing a man who’s clean-shaven is much more comfortable.
Although some people might be offended by this, everyone has their own opinions regarding whether men should let their beard grown or not. In some cases, the beard makes a man a lot more attractive but in other times, it just doesn’t work out. However, growing his beard perfectly worked out for Gwilym Pugh, a 21-year-old businessman. He works from home, so he ended up putting on a lot of weight, probably due to a lack of exercise. To feel somewhat better about himself, his barber advised him to grow his beard.
Gwilym states that when he was overweight, he was working 12 hours a day. With his busy schedule and other injuries, he couldn’t manage to train at all. Although his business was doing fine, Gwilym decided to prioritize his health and properly organize his life.
When Gwilym first started to grow his beard, he was a member of a band. He made his day-to-day lifestyle by eating healthier and reducing his time in front of the computer. With this new routine, Gwilym was able to lose about 90 pounds in 5 years. After losing most of his weight, he started documenting his story on Instagram.
In the present, he works with AMCK models and has partnered up with a variety of brands including Vans and Diesel. As a result of his hard work, dedication, and stunning visuals, he even became a brand ambassador at House 99 which is owned by David Beckham. So, check out some of Gwilym Pugh’s absolutely gorgeous pictures below, and share your thoughts with us in the comments!
