Iqbal Zulkefli has revealed his honest reaction after he came across several photoshopped photos of himself online. Apparently, the local influencer has been subjected to immense criticisms from the public ever since he released his first ever single, “Hujan”.

As reported by Murai, Iqbal took to his IG earlier today (Tuesday, 9th November) to share with his followers some edited images of himself, including a few which show his face being superimposed onto photos of animals (namely a dog and a pig).

Instead of lashing out, however, Iqbal appeared to issue an apology for all the controversial actions that he had been involved in the past. “I apologise for all my actions that infuriated a lot of people. I’ve made so many mistakes, and I have to accept all this with an open heart,” the 27-year-old remarked.

Furthermore, Iqbal also admitted that he does not harbour any grudges against the individual who posted the superimposed images. According to him, not all the things he did were morally good in the public’s eyes. “Pray for me to become a much better person. I really apologise for all the inconvenience that I caused,” he wrote on his post.

The replies section on his social media post was flooded with tons of comments from his followers who appeared to be shocked and enraged by the incident involving him. At the same time, others also advised him to stay strong and remain patient in facing all the trials and tribulations that befall him.

If you recall, Iqbal landed himself in hot water last week after a video of him stepping on dozens of RM50 cash notes on the ground went viral online. He came up with an apology video on his IG immediately after the controversy broke out. In this case, Iqbal clarified that “it wasn’t him who threw the money everywhere”. He further explained that “fake notes” were used in the video.

“I did not notice that I was being recorded, but my behaviour seems awful, and I don’t blame people for judging me. I would not step on [real] money, even ten cents,” he revealed in his post, according to a report by 8 Days.
