Jovana Rikalo is a fine art photographer from Serbia who creates truly unique images by fusing fashion with nature. These dreamy and breathtaking escapist pictures look like they’re straight out of a storybook. From a gorgeous girl holding an adorable fawn in her arms to a mother and her daughter wearing matching gowns in a meadow, these images will take you to a mesmerizing world that you’d love to visit. Rikalo, who’s a self-taught artist, started pursuing photography when she was a law student. It didn’t take her long to fall in love with the craft that allows photographers to create various interesting narratives. As a result, she combined her love for women’s clothing and nature, creating absolutely enchanting and delightful images.

Rikalo unexpectedly got into photography nine years ago, and she mostly captured family moments and self-portraits. She came across some beautiful fine art photos on Flickr when she was in her second year of law studies. The stories and the emotions conveyed by these images left a huge impact on her. That’s when she began observing photography with different perspectives, and they greatly inspired and motivated her to try out new things. At first, she only photographed familiar people. Later, she eventually started breaking the ice and opening up to new faces. At first, she has no idea where to start and how to pose. Fast forward to nine years later, Rikalo has already worked with over 300 models.

Rikalo tries to express stories and scenes through her photographs, and they carry great meaning. However, she believes that everyone has a different interpretation of her photos, as the stories and experiences of people are different.
