Looking for what to do for a day trip in Selangor? Or are you just bored with the usual recreational parks in Selangor?
What if we said, you could now go to Sekinchan? “What? Sekinchan? And do what, visit the paddy fields?” Allow us break the news to you, Sekinchan is more than just Redang Beach and the paddy fields; it has opened its first water park!
If you don’t feel like soaking in the sea salt water of the Redang Beach anymore, or if you feel like cooling off after putting your wishes up the wishing tree of Sekinchan, you could always head over to Msekin Wonderland. Although the waterpark’s opening was postponed under the current circumstances, it has finally opened a couple of months ago. Now with just RM20 for children and RM25 for adults (note that there’s a slight entrance fee difference for non-MyKad holders), you could have all the fun you want in Sekinchan’s first ever waterpark.
Msekin Wonderland might be quite small compared to the other large and impressive waterparks you have been to before, but, it is no less fun. it has 10 different pools, each with different slides, fountains and many more other fun activities for you and your family to enjoy. If you don’t feel like getting wet, then you could always go jump on the trampolines or take a ride on their electric bicycles. Maybe if you feel more adventurous, go for the ATV!
For those who don’t find the aforementioned too kid-friendly, you might be wondering – what about the families with small children? Don’t you worry, because your children can go jump in the ball pits, or rather, slide their way into the ball pits! Are they more on the adventurous side? There’s even a small obstacle course to keep them occupied from day to night. Oh, speaking about day to night, Msekin Wonderland opens from 8 in the morning until 10 at night!
If you’re too tired for a day trip, you could always rent a hotel room for a good night’s rest. But, if you still haven’t had enough of the adventure for the day, then you can always opt for the tent. The room rent starts from RM198 for peak season, but you will be given 2 free tickets for Msekin Wonderland. Meanwhile, the tents would cost you around RM100. The accommodation also include breakfast, and there are other restaurants along with stalls in the vicinity as well.
Although their price rate are as we have stated above, they do have cheaper packages. The Family Package that consists of 5 persons, will costs MyKad holders RM100 in total, while as for non-MyKad holders, RM125. You can book your tickets here.
So, the next time you have no idea where to go for an adventurous day trip, try paying Msekin Wonderland a visit!
