TikTok dances are extremely popular nowadays that the steps have become much easier for non-dancers to follow. Even kids are doing TikTok dances now!
However, there is a time and place for everything. This TikToker couple, however, decided to do the TikTok trend “DJ BonBon” in a rather inappropriate place; in front of the religious office.
Nora (@noralunia), who has a total of 65k followers on TikTok, had recently posted a TikTok with her supposedly ex-husband. The TikTok video, which she captioned, “Just got divorced“, was of them dancing to the trend of “DJ BonBon” in front of the Islamic religious office in Teluk Intan, Perak (JAIP). What has gained netizens’ attention was how happy they looked in the video, and well, it’s just wrong to act that way in front of the religious office.
However, due to the attention the video has been getting, the original creator has since deleted the video. But, we’ve said this before and we’ll say this again, once something has gone up on the internet, it tends to stay there. In her other Tiktok videos, netizens were seen criticising their actions. A netizen commented, “Oh, so this is the widow who has no shame. God hates divorces, (but) you’re happy with it.” While another two other comments called her an imbecile.
However, there is another view on the issue. A rumour has been speculated that they are actually newlyweds rather than divorcees. Think about it – they walked out from the religious office donning all white. But Nora has yet to actually disclose whether the video caption was simply a joke or if it’s the truth and she is still in good terms with the ex-husband.
Some netizens reprimanded her for joking about such a serious issue like this. Because according to Islamic law, a divorce could happen even if its just a verbal one. Having said that, there are some further rules and regulations regarding it.
So, which one do you think it is – a joke or the truth?
