You’d be forgiven to assume that people might want to distance themselves from Yang Bao Bei (杨宝贝) after being involved in a slew of drama – but no. The Malaysian influencer celebrated a sweet Valentine’s Day yesterday (Monday, 14th February).
The controversial public figure was showered with a bouquet of red roses from the self-proclaim “Malaysian Wang Leehom” (大马王力宏) aka Jau Sang (江昭上). He even uploaded a short TikTok video of their dinner date and included Wang Leehom’s “Forever Love” in it.
In his caption, he wrote, “She didn’t steal my IC, only my heart. Happy Valentine’s Day to u YBB 楊虹玲. You’re a very polite, honest, hardworking and a pretty young lady. Definitely one of the happiest day of my life. The only thing you’ve stolen from me today is my heart.”
Wait, has YBB gotten herself a new boyfriend, you ask? Or is this simply a publicity stunt? For those who guessed the latter, you’re right. The 28-year-old took to her Instagram Stories to clarify that these snapshots were taken a few days ago at the airport. It wouldn’t surprise us if Yang Bao Bei was paid to take part in Jau Sang’s latest stunt.
