On the 22nd of February, or also known as Twosday, we saw countless of marriage proposals and weddings on our timelines. Having said that, one marriage in Singapore caught our eyes more than the others.
Kim Lim, the daughter of the wealthy Singaporean tycoon, Peter Lim, who has net worth of 2.5 billion USD (RM10.4 billion) finally got married this week. Following her over-the-top Guo Da Li betrothal ceremony, Kim Lim’s ROM was super next level.
Her newly-wedded husband Leslie, who uses the handle name @waleoweh on IT entrepreneur. The big day kicked off with tea ceremony at Kim’s home in Rolls-Royces. Shortly after that, the heiress-slash-businesswoman changed from her white gown into a traditional kua.
In addition to wow-ing her followers with the dreamy wedding backdrop, the 30-year-old Singaporean also managed to piqued netizens’ interest on her wedding dowries. If you think her Instagram posts are grand enough, wait ’til you see her Instagram stories: kaching$ of golds everywhere – From gold bangles, to huge gold piglets on gold necklace and even gold tiaras!
Of course, her wedding wasn’t only filled with gold, it was filled with glam and class as well. Other than posting three wedding photos for her IG feed, she had also posted snippets of it on her Instagram stories. In her official wedding photos, she could be seen wearing an elegant two-piece wedding gown, surrounded by thousands of different pastel-coloured flowers. Not only that, she also received countless of flowers from different big brands like Balenciaga, Dior, etc.
One might be thinking, “Where do all these flowers go after the event is done?” Apparently, Kim Lim isn’t just a beauty with riches, she is also generous! It was stated in one of her Instagram stories that the flowers will be sent to an old folk’s home to make their day.
