YouTuber Inthira Slams Netizens For Trying To Give Her Parenting Advice

Being a parent is never easy, especially when its your first child. After all, there’s plenty to learn and look out for. However, while advice is welcomed when asked for, unsolicited advice can just be grating.

Local YouTubers Jeff and Inthira have been celebrating the latest addition to their family. Their new-born daughter may be adorable, but needs plenty of attention, as all babies do. However, some netizens felt the need to correct Inthira on how to care for her baby. Needless to say, she wasn’t pleased.

Jeff and Inthira’s socials have been flooded with photos and videos of their child. Most of them show either Jeff or Inthira caring for their daughter. In fact, Jeff helpfully recounted their current daily schedule for their followers. “(Her) diaper is changed 12 times a day, and (she drinks) milk 8 times a day, not counting crying, it takes 48 hours a day (even with) two people,” he stated. Looking after a new-born baby is certainly hard work, but Inthira feels its worth it as long as her daughter is happy.

However, not everyone shares their joy. Some netizens had a list of dos and don’t for Inthira after they watched her coax her child to sleep. Apparently, they had told Inthira to stop coddling her chid so much. Inthira listed a few she had seen such as: “You shouldn’t hug your child all the time, shouldn’t coax them, shouldn’t pamper them.” Their advice, however, wasn’t welcomed.

How I (care for my child) is my problem,” she told netizens sternly. Inthira explained that her child might not only be crying because of hunger, she might have a bloated stomach or need parental comfort. As it stands, there were a variety of issue that could urge her baby to cry. “I don’t interfere (with your life),” she added. “Don’t interfere with (mine).” Inthira also made it clear that she would not be taking any more unwanted advice. She warned netizens that she would delete messages with similar information and block the sender.

Unfortunately, being told what to do is part and parcel of being a new parent. Hopefully, with Inthira’s warning, netizens might back off and allow the duo to prove their parenting skills!
