Incredible Optical Illusion Tattoos Look Like Fine-Lined Designs In Double Vision

All of us have come across striking tattoos at some point in our lives. For many people with tattoos, each tattoo means something. Tattoos are also used as a way of covering physical scars and turning them into something beautiful. Either way, we can’t deny the fact that tattoos are indeed a form of art.

A one-of-a-kind tattoo artist named Yatzil Elizalde creates dizzying body art that makes images appear double, triple, and even quadruple. Using fine lines and blackwork designs, she draws renowned fictional characters including cartoon characters, animals, etc. What’s special about Elizalde’s tattoos is that each of them appears as multiple images that are lying on top of each other. You might be able to view them as a single image if you squint your eyes enough. Otherwise, you will surely start feeling dizzy.

The process of drawing optical illusion tattoos is inherently complex, and this is why Elizalde enjoys it a lot. She considers it as a “visual challenge” that tries to depict various sensations by means of visual complications. You might feel that the dizziness and confusion are only felt by us. However, this is not true. The tattooist too experiences a similar confusion when she designs them. Elizalde states that when she starts to follow a line, it’s really difficult to finish drawing it without feeling dizzy. We have gathered some of Elizalde’s best works below. So, make sure to check them out and share your thoughts with us in the comments.
