Jackie Chan Purchases Luxury Mansion Worth RM25.6 Million To Commute To Work

What a dream it would be to be able to afford a million-dollar mansion! However, it appears that this is the reality of Hong Kong star Jackie Chan (成龙) who recently bought a luxurious mansion near his filming location, Hengdian World Studios in Zhejiang Province.

The 68-year-old actor only recently visited the development via helicopter for a viewing a few months ago but has now decided to purchase it. His grand purchase, which is said to have cost 40 million yuan (RM25.6 million), was made to make it easier for him to commute to work by helicopter.

Last weekend, a viral video of Jackie attending the handover ceremony and showcasing the house’s luxurious interior for fans to see went viral on Chinese social media. A lion dance performance was staged during the ceremony to properly welcome the star, and Jackie Chan was seen shaking hands with the guests and taking a group photo.

The actor had already been performing the duties of the house host by inviting his guests in and personally preparing meals for them. In terms of the house’s design, the living room was said to have gilded ceiling edges made from pure 18-carat gold and milky white marble made up the floor tiles and walls of the house.
