(Photos) Malaysia’s Largest Dinosaur Park Officially Opens In Kajang

From the Jurassic Research Centre located in Genting Highlands to the once loved Mimaland theme park in the 90s, Malaysians are known for their immense love towards dinosaur-themed attractions. Well, prepare for another prehistoric odyssey with the new dinosaur themed park located in Sungai Long, Kajang!

Monkeys Canopy Resort unlocked the gates to their new Dino Desert attraction on 25th May 2024. The attraction is an awe-inspiring dinosaur sanctuary which aims to rekindle Malaysia’s age-old fascination with the Jurassic era. The theme park promises over 140 species of dinosaur animatronics scattered across the 11 acres of land!

Monkeys Canopy Resort have teased its audience with several sneak peeks of the theme park, showcasing snippets of dinosaurs roaring around. It is understood that the park serves as an educational site for one to learn more about the creatures that once roamed the Earth, making it perfect for field trips or just as a place to have some fun!

On top of that, the resort also announced that its theme park’ extension which include two indoor theme parks awaiting adventurers to venture into. For adrenaline junkies, the Conquer Park area presents over ten high-octane activities and obstacle courses while the Escape Safari Playland offers interactive play zones for younger children.

Aside from that, it is said that the theme park will have an open-air concept with limited spaces for one to take a shade under. Therefore, it is advised for visitors to stay hydrated at all times and dress appropriately to avoid heat exhaustion or heat stroke.
