Another week, another whirlwind of totally EXTRA events! We were here, there and everywhere!

We visited the French Riviera with Dior, hung out with Toyota at W KL, developed a taste for orange with vivo, and more. We were on the scene, and vibing like a boss! Just check out our social diary for this past week (don’t be jelly!):

Dioriviera Collection & Pop-Up @ Dior Pavilion KL

We were front and centre at the launch of the Dioriviera 2024 collection and pop-up at the Dior boutique, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. The latest line features ready-to-wear pieces, bags, accessories, shoes, lifestyle products and tableware. The collection also includes two new variations of Dior’s emblematic toile de Jouy motif – the “toile de Jouy Sauvage” and the “toile de Jouy Soleil”.

Of course, the highlight of the address is the summery pop-up, meant to mimic a one-of-a-kind resort experience in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Amid the busy city, customers can relax at the Dioriviera Pop-Up and indulge in coffee, mocktails and specially-curated desserts from Michelin Star chef Raymond Tham of Beta. While walk-ins are welcome, customers are encouraged to book an appointment through Dior Malaysia in advance to ensure a seamless experience.

Toyota Media Appreciation Night

Online news wouldn’t be possible without writers, videographers, and reporters working tirelessly to deliver you hot stories. Which is why Toyota revived Toyota Media Appreciation Night to display its deepest gratitude to the simple folk who do their best to cover your everyday news.

This year’s special gathering was held at W Kuala Lumpur’s WET Deck, where media friends dined and drank to their heart’s content. To bring up the mood, Malaysian independent recording and performing artist Russell Curtis was there to sing us some modern tunes, while the classic Malaysian pop band Alleycats sang us some old-school favourites! Of course, guests weren’t allowed to leave empty-handed, which is why Toyota gave away some fantastic prizes, including vouchers, iPads, a PS5, and even several travel vouchers! Hats off to Toyota – your friends from the media really appreciated this in return.

Berjaya Times Square’s New Attractions

After celebrating its 20th anniversary last year, Berjaya Times Square Kuala Lumpur is now reestablishing as a family entertainment mall. In addition to the well-known Berjaya Times Square Theme Park on Level 5 and 7, the mall recently introduced a variety of entertainment attractions. Besides the underground go-kart at the basement level parking area on B3 (Go-Kart BTSKL), thrill seekers can explore  the next-gen interactive escape room (Bomb Battle) where the players will be suited up in a hazmat suit to dodge lasers and crack codes to avoid getting blasted in paint. There is also a battleground where players can engage in a classic team deathmatch shoot ‘em up with laser blasters (Laser Battle) or to dive deep into the latest VR technology adventure (Hologate).

For families with small kids, Berjaya Times Square has a humongous children’s playground, better known as Jungle Gym Land, as well as an obstacle course (Ninja Jungle Gym), and a children’s go-kart circuit (Meta Kart).

Berjaya Times Square is the perfect plan for anyone looking for a convenient access to various wholesome and fun activities during the weekend or holidays, but wishes to beat the jam or do not fancy a long drive from adjacent cities,” the mall’s Executive Director Mr Tan Tee Ming was quoted as saying.
