If you didn’t know, controversial actor Aliff Aziz has officially divorced actress Bella Astillah for the second time, following a series of controversies with his “Terjerat” co-star Ruhainies. However, days after the divorce, an alleged invitation card for Aliff and Ruhainies’ engagement went viral on social media.
According to the invitation, the pair are getting engaged later this week, on 29th June (Saturday), at the Forest Valley Hall in Cheras. However, it’s worth noting that the card misspelt Ruhainies’ name, and there is no source for the information, thus causing uncertainty about the validity. Sure enough, the card was fake because the online invitation card manufacturer, which posted the invite on Instagram, believed to have used the two celebrities’ names to promote their business.
After the invitation card went viral, Ruhainies took to Instagram to personally deny the rumours that she is getting engaged to Aliff. In a now-deleted Instagram Stories post, the actress called out the fabricated invitation, writing, “I’ve been staying silent while people continue to create rumours about me.” She continued, “I want to assert that all the reports that are not from my own mouth are all false.” She also called out the source of the invite, demanding that they take down the fake invitation.
As of reporting, the business’ account has been terminated, but it is unknown whether it was deleted by the owner or because of a mass report. However, in a second posting, Ruhainies reiterated her stance, implying that she would take legal action towards the Instagram account for spreading false information. She also urged her followers not to fall for these rumours and to look out for any social media accounts creating false information in the artist’ name.
