MPO Announces “Symphonic Anime 5” Concert Featuring Joshua Tan & Rina-Hime

Calling all anime fans! We have some really exciting news to share with you! Apart from stunning visuals and incredible voice acting performances, what fans love just as equally is the series or movies’ soundtracks so what if we told you that you get to enjoy some of your favourite childhood tunes live in concert?

That’s right! This month, the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) is proud to present its fifth anime concert! Titled “Symphonic Anime 5”, the concert will be led by Singaporean conductor Joshua Tan and will bring some of the most iconic retro anime soundtracks you’ve been obsessed with since back in the day.

Among the famous tracks that you can expect to hear at the show later this month will be Kikuchi’s “Dragon Ball Medley” from the immensely popular series, Miyazaki’s “Pokemon: Lugia’s Song”, Takanashi’s “Sailormoon: Moon Prism Power Makeup” and “Gakari’s Naruto: Bluebird”, to name a few. Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without featuring some songs from recent popular animes like “Attack on Titan”, “Demon Slayer, “Your Name” and many more! The concert details are as follows:

This upcoming concert will also feature Selangor-born singer and songwriter Rina-Hime as she will be lending her vocals for some of the songs on the concert setlist.
