Many netizens praised the series throughout its run but now criticised the production for its sloppy work after re-watching several episodes. Many eagle-eyed viewers noted that multiple mistakes made it to the final cut, causing distraction for the viewers. While many goofs were merely items getting left in the shot, many viewers say it illogical for “modern products” to appear in any way since “Joy of Life 2” is a period drama.

- Extra wearing modern-style spectacles
Many netizens admitted that these goofs were rather amusing, with some saying they couldn’t help but laugh at the mistakes. However, these bloopers also left many viewers disappointed in the director and editors for not noticing them during filming or editing. Some argued they were distracting and ruined the viewing experience, adding it also made the production look unprofessional and sloppy.
