A few months ago, Chinese netizens went into a frenzy after a former idol trainee, Huang Yiming (黄一鸣), claimed that notorious billionaire Wang Sicong (王思聪) was the father of her child. Unfortunately, the 25-year-old also added that the public figure was avoiding responsibility – but netizens believe that things might have changed.
Recently, rumours were going around on Chinese social media that Wang Sicong has secretly “acknowledged” his child and has agreed to provide child support for Huang Yiming. According to insiders, the billionaire reportedly gave the mother and child a house and will send 3 million yuan (approximately RM1.85 million) as child support. However, the insiders claimed that, in return, Huang Yiming would have to reduce her public appearances.
Previously, the billionaire denied Huang Yiming’s allegations that he fathered her child and even blocked her after she tried to introduce him to his supposed kid. In response, the former idol trainee took to social media to expose him, even sharing evidence to back her claims. However, the live broadcaster said that her exposing him wasn’t to get money because she could still provide for her child through her online business, selling products through live broadcasts.
Recently, Huang Yiming revealed that she’s moving to a new house, so viewers won’t see her and her young child on stream for a while. She also said she would reduce the number of live streams and only broadcast occasionally. The insider claimed that these sudden changes proved the 25-year-old had received money from Wang Sicong. Neither party have responded to the rumours, but the two continue to post about their respective lives on social media.
On the other hand, netizens said that they’re okay with whatever happens between Huang Yiming and Wang Sicong as long as the innocent child can still have a healthy and happy childhood. What are your thoughts on this issue?
