Nur Sajat is known for being unfiltered whenever she goes live on TikTok or Instagram. Netizens have always enjoyed the candid way the Malaysian-born entrepreneur expressed her contention regarding certain local hot topics. With that in mind, netizens couldn’t help but compare the difference between how she and Malaysia’s No.1 singer Dato Sri Siti Nurhaliza reacted to a certain local media joining their livestreams.
Yesterday (29th August), a netizen who goes by @/heizetatler reposted a moment from Siti’s most recent live stream on TikTok. The singer was seen asking for the viewers’ opinions on her makeup when the songstress noticed that a popular local publication had joined to watch her broadcast. “mStar is watching? Oh my. I wonder what they’re up to,” said the surprised icon, possibly insinuating that the news website was looking for a good story.
Her calm reaction was a huge contrast to how Nur Sajat reacted to the same media outlet joining her livestream once back in September 2023. A user brought up the exact moment Sajat received a notification that the Malay language publication was watching her broadcast on TikTok. “You have some nerve coming to my livestream after I blocked you on IG. What do you want from me? Away with you!” she called out.
The trans figure proceeded to mock the men working for the company saying that they were no better than her. “At least I’m living my authentic self but the men at mStar – trying to look all masculine – are still hiding in the closet! They’re like doughnuts. They may look big on the outside but then you squeeze them, there’s nothing but air,” she added. The businesswoman relentlessly went on about the media company’s hypocrisy and how much she detests them.
As always, many were entertained by Sajat’s sense of humour and how she dragged mStar for filth while others agreed with some of the points she made. Those who reacted to Siti’s comments said that even a legend like her gets nervous when mStar joins the chat. We’re not entirely sure if mStar responded to Sajat putting them on blast on TikTok last year but one thing is clear is that the two have never and probably will never get along.
