BLACKPINK’s Jennie Announces New Single After Signing To New Label

BLACKPINK’s Jennie (김제니) is about to enter a brand new solo era and we’re living for it! The internet is currently buzzing at the confirmation that her new single will drop next month.

Following the announcement that all BLACKPINK members won’t be moving forward with YG Entertainment in regards to their solo careers, each of the girls have been killing it individually. At the helm of her very own record label and entertainment company ODDATELIER, Jennie has commenced her next creative chapter.

The new era also sees Jennie signing as a solo artist to Columbia Records in partnership with her record label and entertainment company ODDATELIER. Last year, she broke records when her collab with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp on the smash “One of the Girls” streamed over one billion times to date on Spotify. As part of the track’s stratospheric success, she not only staked out a spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for 20 weeks but is “the first female Korean soloist to achieve a RIAA platinum song.”

Renowned for her inimitable style and elite fashion sense, she has graced the covers of countless publications (Vogue, Rolling Stone, Elle, and more) and collaborated with everyone from Chanel to Adidas to Beats to Gentle Monster. She has attended the Met Gala and Paris Fashion Week with the multiple brands she works with.

First Lisa, now Jennie. Can we expect Rose and Jisoo to follow suit?
