Concert Review: Our Favourite Moments From PSYCHIC FEVER from EXILE TRIBE’s “HEAT” Concert In KL

After sightseeing around Kuala Lumpur and even filming a few TikTok videos, the day has finally come for J-Pop sensations PSYCHIC FEVER from EXILE TRIBE to take over the stage at Zepp Kuala Lumpur. TSURUGI, RYOGA, RYUSHIN, REN, JIMMY, KOKORO and WEESA performed their first solo concert in Malaysia, their second overseas stop for their “HEAT” Asia Tour.

We had the opportunity to catch the concert -and we can safely say that it was awesome. There were a lot of memorable moments from the night – but almost too many to list, so here are our favourites:

One moment that stood out during the concert was before the group performed “Temperature”. When member WEESA introduced the song, he briefly sang his part without a backing track, prompting fans to sing along. Vocalist KOKORO then sang his lines with the ForEVERs in the crowd. While it was only for a few seconds, the impromptu duet showed how much love the fans in Malaysia had for PSYCHIC FEVER’s music.

If there’s one thing to know about PSYCHIC FEVER, the members are more than just singers and dancers. Members REN and RYOGA did a mini showcase during the concert and displayed their beatboxing and DJ-ing skills. REN was up first, showing off his incredible beatboxing skills, before introducing DJ RYOGA. The 26-year-old pumped up the crowd with his remixing skills, even doing a call-and-response with the fans. RYOGA also mixed the tracks for the next few songs while the rest of the group performed.

Another memorable moment from the night was when the boys came out for their encore stage. All seven members showed off their dancing skills with a dance relay, each taking the opportunity to shine. However, moments later, the group surprised the fans by performing a new song, “Talk To Me Nice”. The crowd went wild when WEESA introduced the track, which has yet to be released. Even though many of the fans aren’t familiar with the lyrics yet, they still jammed out to the energetic song.

The rest of the concert was equally incredible because these seven performers knew how to captivate an audience with their talents and charms. They also promised that they’ll return to Malaysia soon – even making a pinky promise with fans – so we can’t wait for that day to come so we can party with PSYCHIC FEVER again.
