The Indonesian Women’s Business Association (IWAPI) will be proudly hosting the yearly working event `IWAPI RAKERNAS III’ from 23rd-25th September 2024, at Sunway Putra Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. This three-day event aims to empower and support women entrepreneurs providing them with the tools, networks, and knowledge to succeed in today’s competitive business landscape.
As the largest and oldest women’s association in Indonesia, IWAPI boasts an impressive network of over 40,000 registered members from across the archipelago. This year, around 1,000 members, accompanied by several government officials, will visit Malaysia in search of new business opportunities and to strengthen the ties between the two neighbouring countries.
The IWAPI event will bring together over 1200 women business leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals from various industries across Indonesia and Malaysia. The event will feature a bazaar, a series of workshops, panel discussions, and networking sessions designed to address the unique challenges faced by women in business. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts, share experiences, and forge valuable connections that can help propel their businesses to new heights.
Highlights of the Event
- IWAPI National Meeting and Plenary Session: Opening of the IWAPI National Meeting 2024 on 24th September 2024, the announcement of National Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs, speeches by Madam Ir. Nita Yudi, MBA, chairperson of IWAPI, and Mr. M. Arsjad Rasjid P.M., Chairman of KADIN Indonesia, followed by a welcome dinner by the Malaysian Tourism Board.
- Exhibition and bazaar: Attendees will be able to visit product stands and participate in hands-on workshops from 23rd September 2024.
- Talk show and panel discussion: Expert panels will explore “The Role Of IWAPI In Strengthening Indonesia – Malaysia Bilateral Cooperation.”
- Business matching: The event will offer multiple networking sessions, allowing participants to connect with potential partners, mentors, and collaborators.
- Gala dinner and fashion show: Showcase of designers from Malaysia and Indonesia on 24th September 2024.
