Kao Supassara Celebrates Marks & Spencer’s Launch Of First New Concept Store In Suria KLCC

The iconic British retailer Marks & Spencer (M&S) is proud to announce the launch of its very first new concept store in Asia at Suria KLCC. Spanning over 30,000 square feet, this reimagined space sets a new standard for modern shopping experiences. With dedicated sections for womenswear, menswear, kidswear, lingerie, homeware, beauty, a food hall, and a café, the KLCC store provides the ultimate destination for all your fashion and lifestyle needs.

To mark the re-opening, Marks & Spencer hosted a vibrant celebration, highlighted by a special appearance from Thai actress and model Kao Supassara. Joining her was rising Malaysian actors and models Zhen Ning and Jack Gohr, who, along with Mr. Stephen Rayfield, Managing Director, Marks & Spencer MENA & Asia; Mr. Nick Batey, General Manager, Marks & Spencer Asia; Mr. Alex Tan, General Manager, Marks & Spencer SEA, and Ms. Sally Bannayi, Marks & Spencer, Head of International Customer Experience, and Mr. Francis Tan, CEO of Suria KLCC, participated in an unveiling ceremony to officially open the new concept store.

Esteemed business partners, local influencers, tastemakers, and members of the media were then warmly welcomed into the newly unveiled store, creating a truly unforgettable moment for all. The celebration continued with an elegant trunk show hosted by renowned stylist, Andrea Kee.

The store’s new design reflects contemporary sophistication, featuring minimalist fixtures, warm energy-efficient lighting, and showcase beacons that create an immersive shopping environment. The store flows into thoughtfully divided into distinct segments, including womenswear, menswear, kidswear, lingerie, homeware, and beauty. Each department is carefully designed to showcase the breadth and depth of product selections, allowing customers to better explore the diverse offerings.

A unique highlight of the store is a Malaysian inspired wall installation within the Food Hall, which beautifully features iconic local landmarks such as the KL Tower, Petronas Twin Towers, and the Saloma Link Bridge. This thoughtful integration of local culture adds a touch of Malaysian charm to the modern aesthetic. The Food Hall’s new addition is a cosy M&S café that provides a welcoming retreat for customers to unwind, featuring a curated menu of premium teas and coffee beverages, and delicious pastries and cookies.

Kao Supassra embraced the theme of big autumn energy with a contemporary mix of textures and rich, earthy tones. She wore the PU Shell Top paired with the sleek Faux Leather A-Line Midi Skirt, creating a polished, modern silhouette.

Zhen Ning’s Look: Embracing Autumn Elegance

At the launch event, Zhen Ning effortlessly embodied autumn sophistication. He wore a refined ensemble consisting of the Lightweight Bomber Jacket with Stormwear TM, and the Slim Fit Flat Front Stretch Trousers for a classic yet contemporary look. Underneath, he layered the Cotton Modal Zip Up Knitted Polo Shirt, blending style and comfort seamlessly.

The Marks & Spencer store is located at C28B, Level Concourse, Suria KLCC, Kuala Lumpur and is open daily from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm.
