We attended the unveiling of kate spade new york’s latest pop-up store in Malaysia, in celebration of the launch of their Fall 2024 collection. The pop-up, located at The Exchange TRX, Central Exchange, on the ground level, welcomes the local community to celebrate the power of joy.
During the launch, we got to check out the new Fall 2024 collection, which includes the Spade Flower Jacquard handbag assortment. The pop-up will remain open to the public until 15th September 2024 (Sunday). Here’s what went down at the launch.

Tiger Crystal Food Festival 2024
We capped off the week with exciting games, delicious food, and refreshing drinks at the Tiger Crystal Food Festival 2024! Held at 1Utama, the event saw attendees partying till the sun set, while making fast friends thanks to a shared passion for Tiger’s exquisite drink!
Not only that, but we were given the rare opportunity to be the first to sample Tiger’s Soju Infused Lager, a lovely drink that’s as smooth as it’s sweet! If you want to join in on the fun, then you can head on over to 1Utama this weekend! Check out what you can expect in the reel below!

Slide the Curve Launch
Introducing Malaysia’s FIRST water slide within a shopping mall! The Curve is celebrating its monumental 20th anniversary with a jaw-dropping, one-of-a-kind attraction: the ‘Slide the Curve’ water slide in the centre of the shopping mall.
From 3rd to 22nd September 2024, the Curve will resemble an exhilarating playground, blending the thrill of a massive slip-n-slide with the urban flair of a bustling mall. Mid-Autumn Festival Fun @ Pavilion Damansara Heights
Following the moonlit trail at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, the Mid-Autumn festival fun continues at its sister mall, Pavilion Damansara Heights. With Autumn of Lights as the theme, the vibrant Centre Court has been transformed into a world of Mid-Autumn wonders, reflecting the joyous celebration and tradition.
During the media launch, we got to tour promotional booths to learn more about each brand and their delicious offerings. UNIQLO : C 2024 Fall & Winter Collection Launch
We were front and centre when UNIQLO unveiled their 2024 Fall/Winter Collection, which was inspired by London’s The Barbican Centre performing arts complex. For the first time, the menswear was introduced alongside their iconic womenswear, and the full lineup will be available at their The Exchange TRX, Fahrenheit88, 1Utama stores, and online starting 6th September 2024.
During the media launch, we were treated to a showcase of UNIQLO : C creations which centre on the idea of layering – from shirtings, lightweight cashmeres and shirts under dry sweat hoodies, to coats. The menswear collection melds the utility of men’s clothing with the feminine elements of womenswear; while the women’s HeatTech garments stole the spotlight with their amazing heat-generating properties.

MONKI’s 10th Anniversary In Malaysia
MONKI Malaysia hit the big 1-0 – and we were there to celebrate their huge achievement!
Themed “The Antidote To Boredom,” MONKI Malaysia’s 10th anniversary event was a celebration of self-expression and individuality, accompanied by fun activities. Besides customising our own MONKI totes and indulging in some yummy treats, we also got a look at the brand’s latest Fall 2024 collection.

Launch Of Bang & Olufsen’s Revamped Experience Centre
Turn the speakers on! Bang & Olufsen recently reopened its one and only experience centre at The Gardens Mall. To celebrate the exciting revamp, celebs, KOLs and the media got to explore the brand’s upcoming over-ear headphones (launching next month), and state-of-the-art home theatre systems that exude crisp sound with sophisticated design. MR D.I.Y’s “Bersama Satu Suara” Merdeka Bazaar
In celebration of Malaysia’s 67th Independence Day, the nation’s largest retailer, MR D.I.Y. Group, hosted a three-day bazaar from 30th August to 1st September 2024 at PIAZZA, Pavilion Bukit Jalil. The event, titled “Bersama Satu Bazaar,” featured 100 booths showcasing products primarily from local entrepreneurs and vendors, alongside MR D.I.Y. Group’s own brands – MR D.I.Y., MR. TOY, EMTOP, and MR. DOLLAR.
Attendees also enjoyed interactive games and an art exhibition highlighting the work of some of Malaysia’s most promising young artists, all designed to ignite patriotic spirit. The celebration culminated with a special performance by Alif Satar & The Locos, Jaclyn Victor, and Priscilla Abby, who debuted the MR D.I.Y.-initiated patriotic anthem “Bersama Satu Suara” live on the night of 31st August 2024, creating an unforgettable way to honour the nation’s big day! We had a blast!

Exploring Local Art 2.0 @ The Gardens Mall
Celebrating Malaysia’s rich diversity and the shared experiences of its people, The Gardens Mall has brought back its miniatures exhibition, “Exploring Local Art 2.0,” running from 28th August to 22nd September 2024. This year’s exhibition, created by talented artists Eric Siow of MiniARTure Concepts and PuiWan Lim of PicoWorm, along with their team, beautifully captures everyday Malaysian life in nostalgic miniature models.
Featuring 16 intricate dioramas and 42 pairs of figurines representing “The People of Malaysia,” the display is sure to transport visitors to a simpler time. The centrepiece of the exhibition is MinNature Malaysia’s stunning “Celebrating Malaysia’s Multicultural Harmony: A Timeless Diorama,” measuring an impressive 11 feet in length. After exploring the miniatures, visitors can also pre-register for free weekend workshops, where they can create their own miniature key charms to take home. “The Greatest Of All Time” Gala Screening @ GSC LaLaport BBCC
We joined in the exciting celebrations for the premiere of the Bollywood blockbuster “The Greatest Of All Time” at GSC LaLaport BBCC! The gala screening for the highly-anticipated movie was met with tons of enthusiasm, with fans of Bollywood actor Vijay gathering to watch the beloved star’s penultimate film before his retirement. The movie is now showing in cinemas nationwide.
