According to Dispatch, it was reported that BLACKPINK’s (블랙핑크) Jennie (김제) and Big Bang’s (빅뱅) G-Dragon (권지용) are both currently dating. We might have a potential new 2021 K-Pop couple this year.
The media outlet also stated that 24-year-old Jennie and 32-year-old G-Dragon have been in a relationship for almost a year and have spotted the two K-Pop idols meeting in secret at G-Dragon’s luxury villa located in Hannam. Sounds like a perfect place for the two or anyone dating.
Interestingly enough, Jennie’s first revelation to the public began in 2012 when she was in G-Dragon’s music video for “That XX”, playing as a muse. Moreover, in the following year of 2013, the BLACKPINK idol was also featured in the title track “BLACK”, which is found in G-Dragon’s second solo album.
Now it’s been eight years since they first got involved together in the industry, and currently, it seems like they have feelings for each other.
Digging through G-Dragon’s penthouse, there is an independent parking system, together with a separate parking lot in the public parking lot of the villa. If anyone wants to go from the front door to the parking lot, they need to go through a two-step verification procedure. There is also a separate entranceAdditionally, the Big Bang idol has a dedicated elevator situated in the penthouse parking lot, used to go up to his house. G-Dragon’s penthouse is highly secured with a 2-step verification process for entry and has a separate entrance, which was perfect for the high-profile couple. Jennie registered her car on the security system so she did not have to verify every time she visited. Then, she used a separate elevator that goes straight to the penthouse.
In order to go from the front door to the parking lot, you have to go through a two-step verification process. There is also a dedicated elevator in the penthouse parking lot that is used to go up to the house. Because there is no need to go outside to get in the house, they do not have to worry about any exposure of the outside. It was also reported that Jennie’s car has been registered at G-Dragon’s villa. According to Dispatch, Jennie had no problem going through the front door without a separate authentication procedure.
Jennie had a routine date, visiting G-Dragon right after BLACKPINK’s schedule. Their relationship was public, at least within YG Entertainment. Jennie’s manager dropped Jennie off at G-Dragon’s house and picked her up after the date. Sometimes G-Dragon’s manager gave her a ride instead. G-Dragon was also spotted at a music video filming set for BLACKPINK’s first full album, rooting for Jennie at the set.
On January 31st, Jennie was spotted leaving G-Dragon’s house heading to the concert venue. G-Dragon’s car was also spotted at Kintex.
A close acquaintance of the two confided to Dispatch, “A lot of people in YG noticed their relationship. Jennie’s mother is also aware of their relationship. She is thankful to him for his thoughtful care.”
Currently, no statements have been made by G-Dragon. But with the Dispatch’s reports and the statements from acquaintances, it’s only a matter of time before he speaks up.
