The Covid-19 vaccines have arrived in Malaysia and many are looking forward to getting the vaccination. Everyone can register for the vaccine.
There are 5 ways to do it, but by far, the easiest way is through the MySejahtera app. If you already have the app, just enter your Google Play Store as you’re required to update it.
Here’s how to register yourself for the vaccine:
1. Press the ‘close’ button at the upper right corner and press ‘Covid-19 Vaccination’.
2. Press on the ‘Vaccine for (name)’ and verify your details before pressing ‘confirm’.
3. Answer the four questions to finish registering.
And that’s it! The app also gives you the option to be notified on your vaccination status. Currently, Phase 1 (February – April 2021) is for the frontliners. Phase 2 (April – August 2021) will be for the remaining frontliners, senior citizens, high-risk groups with chronic diseases and people with disabilities. Phase 3 (May 2021 – February 2022) will include the adult population (18 and above). The vaccination is free for both citizens and non-citizens.
