Women, Family and Community Development minister, Datuk Seri Rina Harun stole the spotlight recently with her dramatic weight loss.
Over the long weekend, fashion designer Man Kajang took to his Instagram to share some pretty shots of the minister donning his hand-crafted Baju Kurung Pahang. The photos had since gone viral all over social media and even became a hot topic of conversation!
In an interview with mStar, Man Kajang revealed that he was introduced by Rina’s make-up artist, Saidatulnisa. “Alhamdulillah, she liked the ideas and designs I made for her. As a fashion designer, I will come up with what is appropriate, apart from trying to adapt to the client’s needs,” Man Kajang said. Rina also informed him that she has been a fan of his designs.
Based on our findings on Twitter, local netizens left displeasing remarks towards Rina’s glowed-up looks. In this case, a lot of them brought up the fact that many Malaysians have been struggling to cope with the struggles due to the Covid-19 pandemic and also the ongoing MCO.
Not only that, others also chimed in by comparing the current state of emergency to the life-threatening situation faced by the locals during the late 1940s to 1960s. Check out their reactions below:
Ada anak sekolah kena dera, kena bunuh. Ada wanita2 janda2 tak cukup makan. Ada wanita dieksplotasikan hanya kerana posting gurauan di media sosial. Rakyat sedang bergelut dgn kesusahan dan pandemik.
