Korea’s Famous 32 Parfait Store Of Myeongdong Opens First Outlet In KL

In a hot country such as Malaysia, it’s a necessity for most of us to consume some cold refreshments after exposure to the outdoor. And what better way to keep cool with some ice-cream…

But do you know what’s even cooler? An ice-cream that’s longer than your usual normal length frosting, which makes for a perfect dessert for us Malaysians to dig in within these high climate temperatures that are so recurrent in the nation.

South Korea’s famous 32 parfait store will be having its first outlet open in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.

The ice cream originates from within one of Korea’s well-known shopping sites which is Myeongdong, Seoul. There are also various other food vendors located in the district as well, and the 32-cm tall ice cream cones are one of the few famous ones in the area.

It’s your standard ice cream but with extra renditions, with more layers ascending even further as you take a glance at it, just as it reaches its maximum height of 32cm. There are a variety of flavours available like vanilla, chocolate, fruit flavours, and even green tea. While there are also various other types of ice-creams found in Myeongdong, this one is highly recommended if you want something simple and a little bit extra.

In the capital city of South Korea, during winter, people still actually crave these ice-creams which are known to be super cheap, set at a price of 2000₩ (RM7.24). This, of course, makes it worth getting even during very cold winters. If this ice cream sells very well in South Korea, then it’s guaranteed that it’ll be a huge deal in Malaysia. The outdoors are usually hot in the country, so a large-sized ice cream cone will attract a lot of attention for us sweating under the sun.

The best part of this is not needing to go to Seoul to experience this ice-cream, since it will now open its first outlet in Kuala Lumpur.

Facebook page 我爱大马美食 I Love Malaysian Food posted a photo of the upcoming store’s signboard, seen in Lot 10, Bukit Bintang. The store is currently under renovation.

As you can see from the image, various flavours will be offered such as yogurt blue, green tea, vanilla, chocolate, vanilla choco, strawberry, and mango. Hopefully, it comes with a cup as well for those not comfortable getting their hands dirty, and that the price remains the same as seen in Myeondong as well.

The first 32 parfait store will open in Bukit Bintang right opposite Don Don Donki in Lot 10, also seen from the image.
