Neelofa Explains Why Wedding Guests Were Required To Wear White

Local starlet Neelofa officially got married to her beau PU Riz in a lavish wedding ceremony held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in KL last Saturday (27th March).

Apparently, one of the major highlights that stole the spotlight during the lovely couple’s recent wedding was the colour scheme for the attires worn by those who attended the event.

If you notice, most of the guests in attendance were seen clad in pure white-coloured traditional outfits. In this case, not only those among family members and friends, each and every crew members and media present were also required to wear clothes with the same hue.

In shedding some light about this, one of the invitees for the ceremony, Anas Zahrin took to his Instagram to share a clip of him on a phone call with the bride herself on his social media. According to the director of local cosmetics brand Anas Cosmetics, he had to call the “Suri Hati Mr. Pilot” actress for clarifications on the dress code.

“Lofa, I’m wearing white. doesn’t it look like I’m the one who’ll be the bridegroom?” Anas asked the local celeb, to which she responded, “Yes indeed, everyone will feel like the bride and the groom today (the day of her wedding). It’s okay.”

Anas then ended his post by congratulating the lovely couple and also shared his warm prayers for their everlasting marriage. For those interested, take a look at his conversation with the local celeb here:

On a more serious news, PU Riz recently came forward to clear the air on all the allegations surrounding the fake Twitter account using his name, @hrisbismail_. As stated by the “Pencetus Ummah” alum himself on his IG Story, “This is not my official (Twitter) account.”

For those who don’t know, the internet community was abuzz after they came across the fake PU Riz profile shared romantic words towards his beloved wife, in addition to using the hashtag #SayangHarisSeorang. The fake account, however, was later deleted after it caught the attention of the 25-year-old religious figure himself.
