Da’i Syed Avoids Looking At The Camera For Fear Of Black Magic

More often than not, we will try our best to look at the person we’re talking to so that the communication becomes more effective and also, that the message delivered is easier to understand.

However, for Da’i Syed, it’s a totally different case. If you notice, the religious figure is often spotted not looking straight into the camera during interviews and even in his IG Live sessions. So, what gives?

In the screenshot shared by Da’i Syed on his Instagram Story, there was this one netizen who brought up about the social media star’s seemingly peculiar habit. “I just wonder why. BTW, our Prophet often spoke to the person he’s talking to face to face. Just a reminder. Good luck to you, Ameen,” the sender wrote.

This apparently came after the 26-year-old had shared a video of him promoting a product. Though, his eyes seemed like he wanted to avoid looking directly at the camera. In clearing the air on the matter, Da’i Syed responded to the user by revealing that he had avoided looking at the camera on purpose.

He clarified, “Yes! I never looked at the camera (during interviews) and even in my IG Live sessions. This is because, a few months ago, I sought for traditional treatment. The Ustaz advised me to not always look at the camera. According to him, I’ve been exposed to black magic through the eyes when I was conducting my IG Live broadcast.” Scary, huh?
