All Topshop Outlets In Malaysia To Close By End Of June?

Did you hear? It’s been reported that Topshop Malaysia will be closing all of its outlets by next month.

According to China Press, the British fashion brand will be undergoing two stages of closure – the first batch by the end of this month, while the second batch will take place in June.

An insider revealed, “There are several Topshop outlets in the Klang Valley, which are currently still operating. However, the branches in other states will shut down earlier.” The Topshop outlets in Klang Valley include Suria KLCC, Pavilion KL, Mid Valley Megamall, 1 Utama Shopping Centre, and Sunway Pyramid. The physical stores outside of Klang Valley are in Penang (Gurney Plaza and Queensbay Mall) as well as Aeon Terbau City in Johor Bahru.

To date, Topshop Malaysia has not updated its social media since 19th March 2021. Shoppers began suspecting of its closure since last week when the fashion brand promoted its Goodbye Sale with discounts up to 70% off. When a customer recently visited the Sunway Pyramid outlet, the staff on duty informed her that the last day is apparently on 31st May.

Sadly, we foresee more and more fashion brands succumbing to the same fate due to this pandemic.
